GENERAL RULES

TO PARENTS

Parents are requested to read the school diary carefully and ensure that the rules and regulations are followed diligently by them and their children. Fill up all necessary details as soon as the child gets the diary.
Please provide proper facilities and a conducive atmosphere for studies at home, ensure that your child develops the habit of studying regularly.
Please go through your child’s diary frequently to see that he is regular in his work. Please sign the diary every Friday after you go through the weeks assignments. Bring it to the teachers notice if your child does not copy down the homework daily.
Please acknowledge the circulars or any remarks written by the teacher, by countersigning.
If you feel that your child is not making the desired progress, kindly meet the teachers or the principal.
You may contact the teachers on the dates specified in the diary or by prior appointment. Kindly do not walk into the classrooms during class hours.
Please ensure that your child comes to school regularly, in neat and clean uniform and with hearsay book.
Punctuality is of utmost importance. Habitual latecomers will be sent home after three warnings.
Please fill in the absence record in the diary when your child is absent. Do not request for part time leave unless there is an emergency. Except in case of unforeseen circumstances, prior permission has to be sought before taking leave. Avoid taking children out of station during working days.
Changes in the address, telephone number or mode of transport must be intimated immediately to the school in writing.
It is compulsory for the student to be present on the following days. a. Reopening and Closing Days b. Non-instructional working days c. Saturdays which are working days.
Students staying back after school for sports practice must get written permission from parents and get an outpass from the school office.
The school reserves the right to dismiss a pupil on grounds of irregular attendance, habitual lack of application, disobedience or discourtesy to teachers, any kind of malpractice or objectional behaviour not in keeping with the good tone of the school inside the premises or else where. Use of mobile phones by students is banned in school. Children are also strictly forbidden from bringing objectionable literature, CDs, cameras and other electronic gadgets, to school. The Phone / electronic item will be confiscated and returned only when the student leaves the school.
The school will not be responsible for loss of expensive jewellery or other valuable articles brought to school by your child.
Please do not give money to your child unless on written request from school.
Please make proper and safe arrangements for your child’s transport.
Please do not send non vegetarian food items in your child’s lunch box.
Senior students are not allowed to drive two wheelers or cars to school even on holidays.
Please make use of the suggestion box outside the office. Your suggestions for the well being of the school is most welcome, so also your constructive criticism. You may also meet the principal directly with these.

TO STUDENTS


The future belongs to you, dear boys and girls. You have to prepare yourself for the role you have to play in life as a productive and responsible member of society. Try and excel in whatever you do, never give up, Remember there is always scope for continuous improvement. Make the best use of the facilities provided by your home, school and country. Inculcate a planned life and form the habit of doing things regularly. Don’t leave work for tomorrow The future belongs to you, dear boys and girls. Come to school regularly on time, in clean and neat uniform
Bring all the necessary books and stationery to school everyday. You may leave the workbooks and unnecessary notebooks in class. Do not bring unwanted books to school and overload your schoolbags.
Please keep your class-room and the school campus clean. Do not litter the place. Should you find papers around, pick them up.
You are responsible for your belongings - books, tiffin, umbrella etc. Do not expect others to look after it.
Do not damage the school property, as it belongs to you. Any damage will be repaired by the person responsible.
Always remember to speak in English inside the school campus. Correct your friends when you find them disobeying

Special uniforms will be worn from the month of June. School uniforms should be stitched as per the pattern shown here with.Shirts should be sufficiently long to remain tucked in throughout the day. Low waist and tight pants are not permitted.


Monsoon wear
Boys and Girls - Plain black sandals with heel strap or black crocks.
